Abstract

The article presents general classification of mass media which are the object of typology in the works of the Sochi Linguistic and Rhetorical (LR) School; gives examples of discourse practices of regional media discourse ensemble using the example of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory. The conception of the research of discourse ensemble of regional press is asserted as a special speech-and-idea platform for configuration of federal, regional and municipal segments of information, communication and discourse processes, the strategic purpose of which is to represent the view of the world, to highlight the events and to form public opinion of collective regional linguistic personality (LP).
